Dear Parents and Carers
I have, today, received a letter from the Lord Nash, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Schools, informing the Interim Executive Board (IEB) and Norfolk County Council of the decision regarding the future of the Hewett School. The full letter is given below. The Secretary of State has decided that the school will become part of the Inspiration Trust with effect from 1st September 2015. This decision means that the IEB will cease to be responsible for the governance of the school on the 31st August 2015.
On behalf of the IEB I would like to wish the school and its students every success in the future.

Appointment of Deputy Headteacher
I am pleased to inform you that, having interviewed five strong candidates, the Interim Executive Board (IEB) has appointed Mr Antony Little to the post of Deputy Headteacher with effect from 1st September 2015. Mr Little is currently Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form at Notre Dame High School.
